Dr. Scot Thompson grew up in Skipperville AL, 35 miles outside of Dothan on a family peanut farm. He graduated from George W. Long High School in 1991, after two state baseball championships and numerous state track records.
After high school, and always disagreeing with medication in his youth, Dr. Thompson desired to help people without the use of drugs or surgery. His best friend was attending Life University in Atlanta to become a chiropractor, and he went up to visit. Upon doing so, he learned that what most people believe about staying healthy is often false. Instead, good health begins on the inside with how well the body functions. How we steward our bodies determines how healthy we can be.
After attending Wallace College in Dothan, Dr. Thompson transferred to Life University in 1993. Upon graduation, he opened his first chiropractic office in Ozark, AL in 2000. After seven years there, he and beautiful wife Amy, sons Jacob, Jonah, and Joshua moved to Chattanooga, TN. Dr. Scot’s father was diagnosed with cancer in 2009 and he moved back to Dothan. Dr. Thompson is very excited to be back in his home area and loves serving his patients.
Dr. Thompson has attended over 60,000 patient visits and the biggest mistake he sees people making is waiting to long to seek chiropractic care. Maybe you’ve been told nothing can be done, “live with it – here take this pill,” for the rest of your life. Please don’t accept that.
Dr. Thompson, he loves coaching people to better health, hunting, fishing, exercise, and spending time with Amy and his boys.
